INDONESIA

Indonesia is a core area of focus for the GEA Project, who has built a strong relationship with the community of Kupang, the capital city of the East Nusa Tenggara province. In the area the GEA Project has impacted a number of outstanding students and institutions in the areas of professional and leadership development, including four high schools and Nusa Cendana University.

Kupang 2018

The GEA Project brought an international team of ten GEA Leaders from the US and UK to SMA Negeri 3 school in Kupang. Over 100 students from four different local high schools joined the GEA Workshop, which brought together the community of bright Indonesian students to focus on key economic issues like energy and international trade. The GEA Project team also hosted career panels at Nusa Cendana University, where young community leaders and ambitious graduate students exchanged perspectives on leadership and career.
